Aging in the cellar

Aging in the cellar

Our underground galleries date from the mid 19th century. Reinforced by millstones, the pure chalk, a witness to our sub-soil, is discernible in some areas.

These cellars are a somewhat magical place of constant temperature and humidity where our different champagnes rest and evolve over time.

We believe that a minimum of 2.5 years of aging is necessary to appreciate the qualities of our Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs champagne. Five to six years of aging is needed for our Prestige and vintage cuvées to reach their full potential.
